Panic Attack or Anxiety?

Ever since I came home from work I have felt 'off'. It's hard to describe but I feel panicky and worried about bubs. She hasn't moved much today but has moved and I don't know if it's mother's instinct or paranoia or me suffering anxiety or a panic attack. I feel worse the more I get myself worked up and I daren't tell hubby has he will think i'm mad.

Anyone else ever felt like this?

Hiya....I sometimes get myself worked up like that and I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks. Have done since before pregnancy!

When I'm feeling anxious I get really tearful, sometimes faint/dizzy and I get horrible heart palpitations. But it can effect different people in different ways.

I'd suggest lying down and trying to relax, put your hand on your bump and really concentrate on feeling babies movements. I'm sure she is OK in there but if you really are worried ring your midwife xxx

Hya

I made a similar post to this yesterday - I know exactly what you mean by not feeling right but not sure why?? a couple of the other lovely ladies agreed that they had felt like this too and thinking about it I think we were all around the 27-28 week mark - Im wondering if it is a surge of hormones around this stage making us feel a bit out of sorts..

Nice warm bath and a hot chocolate should make you feel better xx

I've had a couple of days like this recently and then gone back to normal. It is most probaly your hormones, but monitor it for 24 hours and if you are still worried after that time callyour midwife.

I have days like that. Sometimes my baby is quiet and I secretly freak out, have tears in my eyes but don't say anything to anyone. Then after a few hours she wakes up properly and goes nuts and I feel foolish I sometimes drink loads of ice cold water and try to rest and feel her move.

I feel it's worse when I haven't been sleeping well and have low blood sugar.

I'm sure everything's fine, but if you feel like something is really wrong you could maybe call your midwife?
