giant babies...

hey. so i've just seen my midwife and she measured me at the appointment. just from using the tape measure my LO's full-term size now but i've still got nearly a month to go! she's sending me for a scan to double-check so it's not definate atm. but i'm a little bit terrified cos i'm not very big and i just keep thinking 'how am i gonna get this beast out of me?!'.

has this happened to anyone else? does it make much difference when you're baby's huge? do you get a c-section if they think it's too big for you?

I'm Currently Feeling:

Don't worry hon, wait til the U/S first. You could be measuring large because of water retention, bloating, full bowels etc. I've been measuring large a week or more at every appointment. IF the baby is a large baby and they think you won't be able to deliver naturally then yes, you would probably get a c-section. But, there's been a lot of girls that have been able to have babies up to 10lbs naturally, so its not a definite thing. Good luck at your ultrasound hon, I'm sure you'll be just fine
