Oh yes, I also had a mood light in the ceiling of the room I gave birth in. It was very relaxing.

wow sounds perfect Tilly.. What would I be allowed to wear in the pool?

I know that probably sounds pathetic but I would like to wear something up top, not to keen on being totally naked throughout... lol

I was worried about being naked as my mum was in there, but mine wasn't planned, so by the time they asked me to get in the pool I just whipped my nightie off. I didn't care who was there lol. If I had another water birth, id plan it slightly better and take a bikini top or something. Maybe best to check what you can wear? but I think a bikini/tank top or similar would be fine.

lol yeah i can imagine just whipping everything off and thinking who cares on the day too!!

Thanks Tilly, I've got an ante-natal appointment on friday so I'll ask about it then..

It would be really good if they done some kind of waterproof nursing bra / tankini tops..

I did a search in Google and found some less attractive ones, but you will probably find some prettier ones on la senza/figleaves or somewhere similar.
