There is absolutely no way i would, just because you crave it doesn't mean you'd eat it. lol. i'd rather eat my own arm. xx | | | | Status: Offline

I HATE eggs, they just gross me out. My DH kept saying how funny he thought it would be if I craved eggs. It has not happened.

I'm Currently Feeling: | I'm a vegetarian - have been for 6 years now... I would never eat meat - the idea just grosses me out too much.
I have (really oddly) had a some really bad cravings for fish since being pregnant - I'd never indulge them, though - I think I'd probably be sick if I did!
[Edit: My family have never really understood or approved of my being a vegetarian - they're always trying to tell me how unhealthy it is and that I should eat meat. They think that it's imoral for me to raise my child as a vegetarian as they see it as me depriving him/her of necessary nutrients... the way I see it, there are plenty of ways to get all of the goodness your body needs from food that is not a dead animal! IF, when my child is old enough to make an informed decision for him/herself then of course I will not judge them for wanting to eat meat. But the way I see it is that just because vegetarianism is the minority in this cuture, bringing up a child on a vegie diet is not forcing them into something, but rather giving them the ability to opt out if they want - it's a lack of action not an action, so if my child decides that s/he does want to be a vegetarian later in life, then she doesn't have to live with the fact that for so many years s/he's already been eating dead animals! Anyways got sidetracked there.... what I was meant to be saying in this add-on, is that my family keep dropping little comments like "you should eat some fish..." or "why don't you just have a little meat with that?" - It really confuses and frustrates me that so many people see pregnancy as a vacation from your ethical beliefs! As if being pregnant suddenly means I don't care about anything I used to care about, and it's perfectly okay for me to just take a break from being the person I am and standing by the things I believe in! If on the other hand a woman who is pregnant reassesses her beliefs and decides that they no longer mean so much to her or she no longer believes that eating meat is wrong, then that is a different matter, but to suggest that while being pregnant you can just switch off your values or could do something that you know to be wrong for the sake of a 'craving' is just radiculas!]

I'm Currently Feeling: | Back to the original thread topic, OMG I can tie my hair up!! It's been a while since I've had the time or money to get my hair cut and I knew it was getting long because it's been irritating me so much on my neck when I'm in bed (it gets all sweaty and itchy - I can't stand it) but I was brushing it just now and ... not only is it so long that it can actually get a knott in it, but there's enough of it growing back there that I could have a tiny ponytail if I liked!!!! I don't like it, though. Which is why, as soon as I get the chance, I shall be joining Aqua in getting my hair cut, too!
I can't believe that - I first cut my hair short 2 years ago and haven't let it grow long enough to tie up once since then! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've had my hair really short for about 8 years and since I've been pregnant, I've gotten so lazy about cutting it that now I too can put it up in a tiny ponytail! I never went to get my haircut as my mum was a hairdresser but now that she lives in Seattle, WA and works in a different field, I've had to do my own haircuts for awhile now and the last time I cut it, I completely butchered it. It was so bad I wish I had pictures. | | | | Status: Offline
