Somehow I've missed this thread! I'm due May 30th. I'm getting bigger and starting to get bad pelvic pain!
I'm planning a hospital birth with a OB and a Doula. Unfortunately, the hospitals around here won't let you have a midwife, so that's our compromise. I'm taking Bradley Method classes and started at 20 weeks. We have four weeks left.
We have just barely started the nursery and the only have bought a crib.
Thankfully I do not have pelvic pain. Just plagued with bouts of insominia and exhaustion among the normal pregnancy aches and pains.
I'm actually feeling quite good and quite happy. It is uncomfortable at times, but still feeling in good spirits. I think I might find a maternity belt though as I think it would help avoid back problems and strain of a larger pregnant belly
I've got pelvic pain too Probably expected with all that extra weight!!!
I had my 31 week midwife appointment on Friday and apart from pelvic pains, everything's looking good. Belly is still measuring a little small, but I've been told it's nothing to worry about. The heartbeat sounded good and I've been told I should get my letter for antenatal classes any time soon. YAY - I can't wait.
Hi there I was suffering with terrible pelvic pain up until last week. I went to see a physio just over a month ago who said I had a pelvic sprain.....probably from over doing it..would you believe at an aqua natal class. She gave me a length of this massive tubular bandage a bit like they give u if you sprain your ankle (like a sock with no sealed end) only obviously much much bigger. I have been wearing that plus she told me to invest in an exercise ball. I have been using it every evening to just sit on & gently bounce or rock on for a short while & it has helped more than I can tell you. I still have odd moments when I over stretch but otherwise my pain is gone. It may not work for everyone but thought I'd share my experience.
