Question

Googling medical stuff again!! (Cervix pains)

Why do I do it?
For a few weeks I've been getting pains in my cervix.
Probably completely normal..
But then I get abit worried and decide to google it;
On google I find loads of pages about my cervix dilating and preterm labour.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Should I get it checked out? It has been going on for a few weeks now.. I know from the 4D scan that one of her feet is right above my cervix. Could be that? Am I worrying over nothing? I would like you all to say yes, but don't lie lol

ive had and still get cervix pain, but its hard to relate it to anyone elses cause its hard to explian except feels like LO poking fingers through your cervix OUCH i know what you mean about googling everything, im same, but it ends making me feel worse cause you find alsorts of thing that it could be. so then i'd turn into a wrec. if you really are worried explain it to midwife. you have to reassure yourself that everything is ok. otherwise you'll just go insane good luck hun

Well I've been worrying about this since about 24 weeks and everything is fine still. It does feel like her foot is going to come through sometimes!! I have a midwife appointment on Tuesday, I think I'll be able to wait untill then. I hope it is just her trying to escape, but not being able to!

It's kind of like a pinch? It doesn't last long and only happens once or twice..

Ohh I've had that, its totally normal hon. Its probably the babies position or the ligaments being pulled in certain way. If the pain gets worse though its always good to let your doctor know.

I worry as well about the aches and pains, but unless I see blood or feel that gush, then I don't worry to much.

Victoria, you should be slapped on your bum!

I get occasional sharp pain in the cervix and god knows where else, but if it passes within an hour I just forget about it.

You will lose your mind with googling everything.

You and your girl are perfectly ok.
