i have never ever ever in my life tried to pee directly into the plastic sample bottle, in fact the idea of it is just not nice - i just use a disposable cup or something and then pour it in

All of those sound so inconvenient! I can't imagine walking through anywhere with a tray of pee- gross! lol Every hospital I have every been to here, they give you a wide plastic cup with a screw-on lid. Nine times out of ten you don't even have to carry it anywhere; they have a revolving door/tray in the bathroom wall so you put the cup there and turn the door around, and the specimen lab is on the other side! Much less embarrassing.

lol no, this was on the delivery suite not in normal clinic so it was taken as soon as i opened the bathroom door! hee hee

i have a midwife appt today so will be aiming for that lil bottle again! lol!

At my hospital, they give you a cup with a wide plastic funnel thing on top of it. It makes it so easy when you can't see a thing that is going on down there.

for those of you who just have the little test tube and say about peeing on your hand. i learnt if you just start peeing first then get the testtube in the line of fire so to speak lol no pee goes on the hands
