Unhappy

When does it stop?????


So sorry if TMI, but since last thursday, my body has been "cleaning itself out", to put it nicely. (Yes...I mean number 2)

Well anyways...I'm just wondering how long it will continue for???
Its kinda driving me nuts. I mean...is it really supposed to go on until I push this kid out??????

And to top it all off...I can barely move!
It feels like my left leg is going to pop out, and everytime I try to turn over, stand up, sit down, whatever, it feels like my pelvis is going to rip apart at my crotch!!!!!

Is any of this normal...or am I just lucky?

I think you're ok with the number 2 issues. Make sure you're drinking lots of water so you don't get dehydrated. Aqua was mentioning that she's been having them for awhile too. Dunno how long its suppose to last though, mine has finally settled down.

As for your legs, you should bring it up with the doctor since it could be SPD/PGP. She can give you some tips to relieve the pain. I noticed that if I don't sleep with a pillow between my legs that it makes my pgp worse during the day. Lots of walking can also aggravate it.

Yea...i tried talking to my MW earlier, when it wasn't so bad, but since it is a clinic, they really don't seem to care much. she didnt even consider it a possibility, she just kinda shrugged it off.

It used to be that a pillow would help, but now that doesnt even work

Ughh that sucks hon. I found you a list of tips that might help you.
  • When getting into bed sit on the edge keeping knees close together, lie down on your side, lifting both legs at the same time. Reverse this to get up.
  • Try not to attempt to pull yourself up from lying on your back.
  • Keep knees together when rolling over in bed.
  • Sleep with a pillow between the legs; add more in other areas for support.
  • When getting into a car: Sit down first and then swing legs keeping them together.
  • Avoid sofas and chairs that are too low or too soft.
  • Try to reduce the stress on the joint.
  • Avoid any movement with your knees apart.
  • Take smaller steps when walking.
  • Avoid stairs if possible.
  • Take breaks.
  • Move within the limits of pain.
  • Avoid twisting, bending or squatting.
