I'm Currently Feeling: | Had this pain in my pelvis all the way to my lower back last night Had to spend most of the night in the tub as it was the only thing that would make me feel better! Walking, sitting and changing position is just impossible... Spent the whole morning in bed still in bed now. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I am currently 11 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby and am suffereing from such bad pain in my pelvis and tail bone that my midewife referred me to my dr who has then referred me to a physio at my local hospital. I am going to have a pelvic girdle belt fitted. I have no idea if this is going to work but the alternative is to have crutches late in pregnancy and then probably a caesarean.
My first pregnancy I just had normal aches and pains but the second pregnancy I had the pelvic popping and cracking noises as well as pain late in the pregnancy. I only waited 6 months before getting pregnant again which probably hasn't helped and I am also overweight which I am sure puts a strain on things.
This time around I feel that I am being taken more seriously as I have been offered a really good level of care. Saying that my second pregnancy was fine and I was happy with the care all except for the pain in my pelvis, my midwife had never even heard of SPD and I don't think she is the only one.
The pain gets unbearable by the evening and I get my man to rub my lower back and top of my butt! He thinks it's great!! I find I can't sit for too long yet I can't move around for too long either.
Does anyone have any tips or things that they did to help? I may go loopy by the end if I can't get some relief from the pain. What with having other children to run round after I am not finding things that easy now let alone in another 20 weeks

I'm Currently Feeling: | Most people on here know how badly I suffered with SPD, by 28 weeks it was that bad that I had a pelvic belt, crutches and by 36 weeks I had to use a wheelchair to get around, I had my baby girl 26days ago and I still suffer with pelvic pain now, I see a physiotherapist still. Mine was a very severe case and I made it worse by not resting when I should have. Some people only have it mild though hun, just try and rest as much as possible. |
