Been attending hospital every other day for CTG and doppler as I have a few small issues with placenta and low fluid level. However, everything appears to be fine when they check results of scans each time.
Anyway, last Wed the midwife looked at results of CTG and said to me "do you feel those tightenings?" - I didnt!! Then i saw in my notes that she had written irregular uterine contractions.
Today again it says "irregular uterine contractions" and a different midwife asked if i was feeling tightenings - when I thought about it I realised I was but just assumed it was baby pushing my ribs. Anyway, I watched the midwife walk away with the CTG results to another midwife and she said "look, 38+5wks" and they both raised their eyebrows and said "oooh!!" as in "ooooh, exciting".
BUT no one said any more to me! What do you think? Did they see anything to indicate that labour could be close? Im fed up waiting!!

What was the readings on the machine hun?

My braxton hicks have become alot stronger over the past few weeks and I can definately feel them more than I used to.

It could be hun, its a good sign you're bodies getting ready anyway

I'm not sure what the reading was, how can i tell? I have my notes here but dont know what im looking for!

Just had a look and last wed the highest was 70, today the highest was about 55-60. Have tried to google this, but really dont know what it means!!
Anyone help please?
