| My baby's gone quiet- Updated!
all ive had today is a bout of hiccups and just now a foot stick out.
Usually he/she mooches about all day.
Had a cold drink and some apple but no increase.
ive already been to the hospital for monitoring at 27 weeks and feel bad if i ring them again, especially as he/she had hiccups earlier.
sob sob
i hate it when this happens | | | | Status: Offline

| They do tend to move less the later in pregnancy due to the room but you should always get checked out if worried. Just contact the MW or go to the hospital, it will make you feel better xxx | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi, its horrible when they do this, i always feel like they wil wake up as soon as i go in, i know it sound silly but i have called up once and after the phone call i must have relaxed as she started wriggling.
When my little one was quiet the other day and after all the tricks didnt work i tried a hot bath. That didnt really work either but then i acidently dropped the glass bottle of sage oil in the bath and the very loud band it made woke her up. very releived | | | | Status: Offline

OMG, DO NOT feel bad! I've made 3 visits to hospital, once at about 25 weeks for lack of movement, once 2 weeks ago because i thought my waters were leaking (which they weren't) and again today for lack of movement. You MUST get checked out if your baby is moving less than normal. That's they're job and what they are paid for, really hun, do not sit at home and worry. I know where you are coming from though, i felt bad when my wee man started wriggling today as soon as i got there, but it put my mind at ease. | | | | Status: Offline

| To be fair, you did say you've been asleep most of the day so baby could have been moving then and you've just missed it. If you're concerned and baby is normally active in the times you've been awake then definitely call the MW.
Try a warm sugary drink first and give it an hour. If nothing, call. They'll probably advise you do this first anyway if you call now. | | | | Status: Online
