Try drinking some icy cold water usually gets babes moving and if your feeling really anxious please contact your midwife and if you need to go to the hospital again its fine dont worry bout it x

Hey ladies, went up to hospital, stuck me on the monitor again and all is fine!
Think baby had moved into a weird position.

Midwife said the head was still quite high which is weird cos i thought he/she had def engaged cos of the pain i was getting in my foofoo! lol!

The monitor also showed some Braxton Hicks, which i didnt feel at all! weird!

But anyway, she said it may have been cos i hadnt eaten a lot that day and baby didnt have the energy to move much- felt really bad when she said that.

All is well now and they sent me on my merry way. have treated baby to fish and chips to apologise for not eating enough today!

xxxxx

The pains are just spasms from pressure, very common complaint. Glad all is well!

I saw my midwife tonight and her words were "never worry about wasting our time and think see how the movements are tomorrow, we'd rather send you home reassured by scanning you" so honey ring your birthing centre now and get yourself checked otherwise you'll worry yourself rigid xxx

Oh just read your update .. glad you're both ok! Even tho I had an overnight stay in the hospital last night best thing I did x

hey hun, im only a couple of days behind you, and the last couple of days all ive had is a few stretches, couple of bum shuffles and a few bouts of hiccups. NOTHING on what this wee one would usually be up to.

good strong hb tho so i know he/shes fine

if your really worried get checked but my midwifes told me that they get quiet in there last couple of weeks as there resting for labour and theres really no space left for em in there

try not to worry hun, but if you really think theres something that may be wrong please dont hesitate in calling ur unit for reassurance!!!

xx

I posted this in another thread a few days ago....I have noticed that if my or OH's hands are really cold and placed on my bump that she tends to move out of the way. My sis had the same dr. as I do and she told him that she didnt feel him move much, so he told her to put an ice cube on her bump. Sounds a lil cruel, but it might ease mommy's mind when she is concerned.
