I don't like mine because they are SO medical, I would much prefer a birthing center. I had considered going to Walnut Creek, so San Ramon's not that far!
I really like the hospital I'm going to. The rooms are good and you labour and deliver there. If you stay in you'd proabably then have to go to a ward unless you paid for a private room but most women go home after a few hours. Your only allowed 2 visitors at a time, including your OH & they're very strict on visiting times but this doesn't bother me since I'm quite anti social and would rather they stayed away!

Wow! In the U.S. they hospitals want you to stay for 48 hours. I'm staying as long as I can. It will be my last chance for someone else to help with the baby. Plus, I'm terrified to bring the baby home!
