Just thought I'd share something with you that I read the other day. I was reading an article on how to bring on labour if you are overdue, or desperate!

Of course all the normal stuff was there, I'm sure we all know about them... long walks, pineapple etc..

BUT the interesting thing was that having sex is a little off the mark..~(I always believed that the sperm was supposed to have some effect on the cervix and bring on labour)... but apparently digesting the sperm has much more of an effect!

So.. if you're willing to give anything a go and give OH a treat at the same time, then maybe this option is the way to go!!

Maybe hold on to this information until YOU want to use it, otherwise, if your OH is anything like mine he'll be persauading you to 'bring on the baby' at every opportunity!!

I think this was written by a man!

I was reading something about inductions the other day and the stuff that they use (which is the same stuff as in sperm) is given as either a gel or a tablet downstairs, not swallowed, so seems odd that it would be different for the natural method.

That said, a lot of people have salty cravings in pregnancy don't they? If you're one of them it could be worth a try!
