Well I have kind of made a c section list although its not by any means definitely yet. I have left out 'labour type' things like hairbands, lip salve and water spray for face. I have upped the pj/ clothes/ maternity pad kind of stuff to allow for a 1 week stay and thats about it really. I cant see much else being that different hth

Hiya,

I've packed a couple extra of everything, as the chances are you'll be in hospital an extra day or so. I've got 4 vests/4 babygros, about a dozen nappies (dh can bring more if i need them), a couple of blankets, 2 pairs of scratch mits.

In my bag, i have about 6 pairs of knickers and a pack of disposable knickers, couple of nursing sleep bras, 3 nighties, 4 pairs of socks (my feet are always cold!), a pack of maternity pads, about 20 breastpads, a couple of towels, and just normal amount of toiletries.

If your dh/oh is travelling back and forth to the hospital, he can always bring you anything you run out of.

The only thing i still need to add to my bag is something to wear home, and some snacks, magazines etc.

not a clue!!!!!! I am adding a pack to each weekly shop from now on in and kind of just going to take as many packs as fit in the bag tbh. I am sure you can buy that kind of thing at the hospital tbh if your oh isnt coming back and forth. My plan is to pack a reserve bag at home basically full of duplicates so I can get oh to just bring it in when I need it after the stuff I have has been used.

Well having just been told i've to have a section next week i guess i better up what i have in my bag, I'll be adding an extra nighty or 2 for comfort instead of pjs round my stomach, I've got in at mo 4 vests & 4 sleepsuits/pjs for baby so prob gonna add another 2 of each, I've 12 nappies in so will remove & just put a full pack in, extra knickers & there isn't really much else which will be any different to normal. Ive got a small rucksack with extra essentials in so that my mum can bring them up so i dont need to carry them all & swap for anything needing washing
