mucus plug tmi.....

ive been to the toilet twice this mornin and both times there was clear thick snotty discharge....im not sure if this is my plug or not because there was no blood and no brown tinge to it. Does there have to be blood or can it be clear/yellowy colour??

Am no expert! At all, but just got back from an ante natal class and the midwife described it that way to us. So it does sound like it to me. It doesn't have to have blood in it. xx

i have been having the same thing off and on since yestereday and it is a yelowish/clear colour so id say it is mucus plug its disgusting lol

I've been having the same too... mine started clear and sometimes is slightly yellow. Have been getting it in bits and bobs for over a week now - usually coincides with a bad tummy (another early labour sign)

i've been getting this too but not that much. wondered if it was normal discharge or plug bits....

how much of this stuff are you getting?

emmm well it was about the size of a 2p piece and i have been gettin little bits when i go for a wee, not sure if its just discharge tho-does losing the plug mean anything like how long until labor??? xx

Ah! I been getting this and wondered too. When had my son my labour started exactly 1 hour after I had a show. But that plug was plentiful and bloody (sorry TMI) The "gunge" at the moment is like yellowy green snot and about the size of a 1 penny piece.
I have also had much more need to go for a number 2 recently!! Pre-pregnancy I was a twice a week girl, but now it is 6 times a day on some days

I am guessing this is all my body getting ready for bubs t arrive!
