Public / shop loos

Just to let you all know that I went shopping yesterday in Manchester city centre and the bladder attack came on suddenly when I was in Boots. So I asked an assistant if they had any toilets and she said no, but we do let pregnant ladies use our toilets! I was well impressed as I'd expected a blunt no and have to run off to find another place to go! Also felt nice that the bump had been noticed in a positive way!

Just wondered if all shops do this? Do they have to let you use their loos?

I know I'm usually the same but the shops are so big and I had no idea where the loos were in the Arndale so I thought sod it and asked! I think I'll be doing it again! I have become an expert though at knowing where all the loos are in shops in towns near me!!! haha!

I think (and I might have made this up) that shops are legally obliged to let you use their toilets if you need for 'health' reasons (really do think that sounds made up but I defo heard/read it somewhere!).

Yes I was in Shoppers Drugmart the other day and asked the cashier if they had a bathroom and she said not usually, but for you ok. But then she yelled to a male manager "she needs to use the bathroom! Can you taker her there?" in front of all the customers in cashier line-ups. I was so embarrassed, especially because it wasn't an emergency; I just wanted to pee!

Yeap, its actually legal for a pregnant woman to urinate wherever they want, hence why most places will let you
