My trip to the hospital...

Hi girls,
I havent been feeling great for a few days now and was beggining to worry about premature labour!
On thursday i had a bit of a rough day, my kids have been sick all week so i was running around minding them and i went to do my food shopping which can i say was hellish! it was like xmas eve in the supermarket, i had to fight my way around with the trolley!! I swear some people should have learner stickers on their trolleys!!

so i was on my feet all day. That evening, i had terrible back ache which started to spread to my lower tummy! So i rang the hosp, and midwife told me to take 2 paracetamol and have a bath and see how i was then, so i did and i went to bed and was grand then.No more pains all day friday!
So this morning i wake up and go to the bathroom for a wee and when i wipe their is this big pink blob on the tissue paper! TMI sorry

... I start to panic, wake my other half and ring the hospital, who tell me to come in straight away as im only 31 weeks!
When i get there they run a few tests, then i see a doc who explains that my urine has shown up an infection, more then likely a uti which would explain the back ache and slight bleeding! So i have to ring for blood results on monday and if they show up a uti infection i have to start and antibiotic which will clear it up!
I am so relieved that it is not preterm labour, and plus i got to see my little boy on ultrasound again, which is always a bonus! Doc told us he is most definitley a boy as she could see all his boy bits and his very big looking testicles!!! Her words not mine..... And needless to say oh was well chuffed at this!!
