I'm Currently Feeling: | I have my fingers crossed So this weekend, I noticed a bit of pelvic pain, just at the front, where the bones meet. Yesterday it was fine, didn't really notice it. Well today in yoga I went to do a squat and oh dear! It really hurts now. My fingers are crossed that it is not the pelvic disorder thing! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hmm... I have lots of pelvic pain too. I've never thought to ask my doctor. How do they test for that? Does anyone know? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Burton I have no idea. I am going to see how it goes, and talk to my midwife at my appointment next week. But if it keeps hurting, I will give her a call. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Hope everything is ok Samantha. My doctor told me to get a maternity belt and it does help to take off some of the pain/pressure. No more squats for you missy! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | If it keeps hurting, then definately go and see your doctor, because they can help to prevent you from making it any worse, definatley don't try to overdo it with yoga and other exercise. I hope its just a sprain hun xx |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I agree with the others, speak to your midwife asap. If it is SPD they'll give you some exercises to try out then if it's no better or gotten worse they'll refer you to a physiotherapist who'll give you a support belt. You've got a while left to go before baby comes so it's prob best if something is done now.
I left my symptoms get worse because people kept telling me it was just usual pregnancy pains and making me think I was over-reacting, but you have to push it. If I was listened to in the beginning it would have been sorted at the start of 2nd tri!
The good news is that it might be a b**** during pregnancy but it actually makes the second stage of labour easier thanks to a wider pelvis
Bad news is if you have it one pregnancy then it's highly likely you'll get it in all your pregnancies! | | | | Status: Offline
