Argh I can never wear a skirt ever again!!!!

.....unless its ankle length or with black opaque tights!

Since I first got pregnant ALL the weight has gone onto my thighs...actually my whole legs. At one point I thought baby was living there rather than in my belly

I mentioned to the MW and she said it was normal.

Now the stretchmarks are starting to appear....they are pretty much down to my KNEES!!! Is this normal???!!!!

I can only just about cope with the tops of my thighs but my KNEES!!!

My legs have expanded soooo much in the last 8 months To think they used to be so toned before!

Am hoping to get out running, even for 20 minutes after baby goes to bed, after christmas, so fingers crossed they go back to semi-normal. I don't care one bit about the rest of me, so long as my legs go back!

I have put a lot on my thighs too. I suppose if you think about it our thighs have to get bigger to support the bump, but it is kind of depressing. I am really so looking forward to getting back in shape after the baby is born. Mind you, Christmas is not well known for being a great weight loss season so I guess I'll have to go a bit easy on the mince pies unless I really do want to start 2010 looking like an elephant.

Unfortunatley it looks like my skirt/dress wearing days are over aswell!

It didnt bother me too much until my mum lovingly mentioned that my legs looked bigger

I have stretchmarks on my thighs from when I hit puberty, but they faded pretty well! (The butt not so much) I have been lathering up with bio-oil when I remember and hoping they stay minimal - I think it has actually helped on my butt area too - and those ones are old - so it can keep making a difference!
xx

I'm slapping on the bio oil and hoping they don't get too bad.

To be honest my legs have never been my best feature. They are like tree trunks....but now I don't know how to describe them!!! I read in a pregnancy book "I look like I've been pelted with cottage cheese"....maybe that'd be a good description!!!!!

I can see me looking forward to winter every year when I can cover up!

I didn't get the stretch marks on my thighs...
...I got them on my calves!!!! They swell and shrink so much and I've got such sensitive skin.... No skirts or shorts or gaucho pants for me.

Hopefully they'll fade. And I heard that if you use self-tanner, it tans the stretch marks also. The sun doesn't and neither do tanning beds! It's worth a try summer time!

Yeah, my legs and hips are taking a beating. But I don't mind wearing nylons, they're sexy anyhow Maybe I will become known as the zebra woman!
