Question

Sorry TMI but...

Does anyone know how long before you give birth that your body starts to "clean itself out"?
I'm sure you know what I mean...
It seems lately that my body has been doing that. I don't feel sickly or anything, I just have to go...more than usual

Just wondering if this is the "cleaning out" process that they talk about in the books.

Anyone????

It could be, but women can have it weeks before they actually do. Depends on what your body wants to do

I haven't had the runs at all! maybe I'll be a lucky one!

Maybe you will go early! If it's two weeks, you will still be considered full term (37 weeks).

I don't think it means you will go soon. I had it for about a week almost a month ago and got pretty anxious but it ended up going away and now i'm waiting for it to come back again... Everyone is different i guess but i would say you are ok.

Strange.
I've had it happen on a regular basis now for the past 10 days. No cramps or anything.

I just hope my body decides to clean itself out before birth because I don't wanna be able to tell a horror story involving BM. Fingers crossed.
