| Baby measuring 34 weeks!!!! My DS was born 5 weeks early and was perfectly fine, went straight home....this one is measuring 34 weeks and I haven't even passed 31 yet!
Do you think he'll come early as well? Should I be prepared for his arrival a few weeks early just in case? They didn't induce me with my first son...he just evicted himself! lol | | | | Status: Offline

| Hehe. Sounds like you're baby is a big one but you also have to remember the measurements in scans are USUALLY inaccurate. So try not to worry about it but if you feel the baby may come early then pack ahead of time - it won't do any harm. | | | | Status: Offline

| Me too hon! Just got measured today at 31 + 2 and measuring at least 34, ive been referred to the consultant but the midwife isnt worried, she said they most prob wont do anything anyway but its just a precaution,i guess iwould rather a big baby than for it to be struggling but its still a bit daunting! | | | | Status: Offline

| Im assuming they would send you for a scan as its more reliable than the measuring of your uterus for babys size, I would probably be prepared for an early baby based ont he fact your son was early.. not that your measuring ahed.. x | | | | Status: Offline

| Have you diabetes at all? If so, they'd probably induce based on his size. | | | | Status: Online

| At 26 weeks i measured 34 cms. Been runny 7 ahead since and on weds (30 weeks) measureing 33/34 weeks but head is engaging so she said that would explain for the the little drop. Been refered for scan and consultant next week. Hoping the measureing is just inaccurate. Did you measure big with your first? x | | | | Status: Offline
