Sweet Smelling Wee

Hi ladies,

I'm hoping someone can help please? For the last 2 mornings when I've been for a wee (first of the day) its smelt very sweet. Is this something I should mention to my midwife or is it nothing to worry about? It goes back to normal after the first of the day.

Gem x

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. My next appointment isn't until 32 weeks so I'll keep an eye out and will speak to her earlier if it carries on.

I've read that amniotic fluid usually smells sweet. Maybe it might be best to give your midwife a call, just to make sure everything's as it should be.
