Acid reflux cures?

I was going to try gaviscon, but wondered if anyone else knew of something non-medicated, other than milk, that works?

no idea, as I always just take a small Tums tablet which dissolves in about a minute and takes away the discomfort.

All I ever used was Tums lol, always had a baggy full of them in my purse. Other than that, I use milk. Oh, they did give me maalox at the hospital when I had bad heartburn, so that should be safe.

Mouthwash, brushing my teeth or chewing gum usually takes it away from me.

Also milky stuff like ice cream, yoghurts and milk help

Gaviscon is a lifesaver though, Tums never really worked for me

I've heard you're not supposed to drink milk for acid reflux. It relieves the symptoms at first but then irritates the stomach further.

I know it sounds weird but Apple Cider Vinegar is supposedly great for acid reflux. Baking soda mixed with water is good too.

Does anyone else get scared when they try to look up Acid Reflux on the internet, and there's all these really scary stories about linking it to cancer - sorry but it really freaked me out with all the reflux i was having, i don't want to think about not being here for my baby in the future!! It must be over-dramatised don't u think?

I think the majority of people get heartburn and acid reflux during pregnancy, I think that its a tad exaggerated.

Don't google symptoms! It just makes you worry. Im sure everything is fine love
