| Who is having the swine flu vaccine?? My surgery rang yesterday and asked if I want the swine flu vaccine but heard so many pros and cons so am confuzzled as to what to do .... I had the flu vaccine a few years ago because of my hypothyroidism and had no side affects but really don't know what to do this time - so who has had it, who will have it, and who isn't gonna have it ladies? | | | | Status: Offline

| Hi Ladies - sorry this is probably a bad place to introduce myself but i'm just joining 3rd tri so hello!
The decision to have the jab has been a tough one and although i am completely terrified about having it, I think I have finally decided to go ahead. | | | | Status: Offline

| Hello, ive decided not to have the jab. I got the call from my docs last friday and the clinic is actually this morning but figured that ive been fine for the past 6 months, full pandemic was before and during being 12 weeks of pregnancy when most at risk so i dont want to risk any side effects for something i may never come into contact with. If that makes sense??

| I am not having it done, I have a friend who is involved in drug trials, who is pregant. She is 20 weeks, and is saying no way because they havent been through enough trials. So for me Im following this lady and being extra cautious. x x | | | | Status: Offline

| I had it on Monday. I'm asthmatic and it is generally worse in pregnancy so after I weighed up the pros and cons I decided to have it. They gave us some really good information at the clinic and I now feel fairly confident that I did the right thing. (I also had the seasonal jab last month, which i had the last time I was pregnant as well) | | | | Status: Offline
