What the heck!? Normal?

I fell asleep this afternoon around 3 and woke back up around 6ish. I noticed that my feet have swelled even worse, my hands are now swollen, and so is my face a little. Well every time I take a step I can feel the water underneath my skin on my feet! It's the weirdest feeling. It's like I can feel the water swooshing around!!

Is this normal? And has anyone else experienced this?

I can be normal for ankles hands to swell but can also be a sign of preeclamsia. I would get yourself seen as soon as poss and have your blood pressure taken and your urine checked for protein. Hope all is fine though :-)

When you press your ankles does it leave an impression or does the skin spring back?

i thought preeclampsia as well.

Any other symptoms? Headache, epigastric pain, visual disturbances or white spots in front of eyes? Best get yourself checked, although swelling is common in late pregnancy, it can be a sign of pre eclampsia. I wouldn't worry too much unless you have any of the above symptoms too.

The skin on the top of my feet are like play dough. If I push on them the indention stays for a few seconds but on my face and hands it isn't like that - the swelling is at a minimal on those two parts of my body.

I just paged my OB and asked him if I should be concerned because I can't see him until Monday and he said that I shouldn't worry unless it becomes painful to the point where I can't stand it or my feet/hands/face turn purple.

But I'm not experiencing anything aside from being HOT! But I am putting it down to this crap weather outside and the fact I can't seem to stop running around and cleaning. So I've just been taking cold showers 2-3 times daily and trying to rest the best I can.
