back from hospital after being sent from growth scan!!!

i wrote a post on monday sayin that my fundal height has fallen on my chart the past couple of times i have been measured so was sent for a growth scan today.

results from scan are showin baby is measurin small and under weight, so was sent to hospital to be put on the trace machine, was on tis for 30mins everythin is lookin fine apart fom baby being 2 small.

i have been told that i have to have a scan every week to make sure baby is growin, if she hasnt grown by next thurs(my next scan) they may induce me.

i kno my brothers gf when she was pregnant with my niece she was little but apparently the placenta had matured too early so she was a little small but she was fine

and she went full term with no problems good luck hun everythin wil be ok

keep us updated !! it might just mean u will get to meet ur lil princess that little bit earlier

Dont stress too much, I had a growth scan at 32 weeks as baby was measuring 8 days behind on my 20 week scan. The doctors etc have had me going to scan every week since 32 weeks and I had to go to the hospital twice a week for heart trace scans. Finally now at nearly 38 weeks they are just coming to the conclusion that she is just a little small. My baby is measuring in the 10th percentile which is very small but someone has to be in the 10th percentile I guess. I was a small baby 5 pounds 15 oz and my sister was 5 pounds 9 oz.

Honestly dont stress too much doctors just like to be cautious

Im sure everything will be fine. The doctors will do whats best for you and your baby and she is full term now so if you are induced next week im sure she would be perfectly healthy. My son was born at full term weighing 4lb 8oz and he's perfectly fine

Try not to worry, easier said than done I know because I've been told my baby is small too

From what I've been told though they can get babys weights very wrong sometimes!

My friend was told her baby would be lucky to be 4lb and he was a healthy 7lb something!
