Why the hell do I pay???

I hate my doc's office sometimes. I love my OB to death but why the hell do I pay for his services (and I have insurance) when I call in and they tell me I can't come in because their booked? Lovely to be told that when I've paid a 280 dollar deductible to his office AND over 160 dollars in lab fees they charged me for checking my urine.

I called in a few minute ago to schedule my LAST appointment before my c-section and I was told I can't come in because he is fucking booked! This is the SECOND time it has happened and on top of that every other time I have called in to schedule an appointment it is like pulling teeth for them to give me a feasible time where I can make it in. Either they want me there at 7 in the morning or they want to give an appointment at 6 in the evening.

Glad to know they can take my money but can't squeeze me in. WTF! Now I won't see the doctor till my c-section next week. It's bull crap!!!

woooow I would be fuming as well! I can't relate because we're lucky up here when it comes to paying for services.. but wow... is he the only one in the office? is he the one doing your c-section?

Yeah I notice that the closer your appointments are together the less times they have available. I think it's cause most appointments are made with at least one month in advance so they really do have to squeeze you in. I only had one time available for my next appointment (2 weeks apart from the last one) and it's right during my DD's nap! No choice though, at least it's better then 7am! It's awful they can't keep some afternoon slots open at your office for the pregnant ladies who have to make appointments so close together.
