Lovely, lovely midwife smiley pointless thread

I'm SO happy...after last week's farce of bloods and one GP saying I had B12 deficiency and needed to get in to surgery asap, another one not being able to find my notes and not really giving a toss, I have today made contact with a lovely lovely midwife who is going to sort it all out.

She's going to my surgery tomorrow, is going to access all my details, speak to both obs and gynae and haematology and sort it all out.

She was so reassuring that none of this is harming LO, that there's plenty of time to sort out before EDD and that she personally will make it happen. Lovely, lovely lady...

Interestingly, promised call from GP I saw on Friday has not happened...

its horrible when everything is up in the air, it doesnt help our nerves!

Ring your GP and ask if there was a reason he/she didn't call..
that's not good enough xxx

Yeah, makes me mad! M/W expressly said not to call him (think she could tell I was on the war path!) as she would sort it out with him tomorrow (got the feeling she'd be telling him what's what). I will NEVER see him for anything again if I can help it.
