How the hell do you get comfy in bed at night???? arrrgghh!!

I can remeber feeling uncomfortable in bed with my other two but this baby is a giant! lol
Also any tips on how to lie in bed so that bump does not try to play rugby with my ribs and my sides??
I seriously cannot get comfortable at night.
Weird thing is during the day if I go for a sleep I manage to drop of no probs.
Any advice??

k

I'd like to know the answer to this too
I get comfy for about 10 minutes then need to move and feel like I need a fork lift truck to help me turn over
Poor Oh must get a fright when all he can hear is me grunting and sighing every five mins!!
Good luck

I have no answers, just know exactly how you feel! I have one of those boomerang pillows between my legs and my bump still feels uncomfortable. I'm like a beached whale when I'm laying down in bed

Hmmmmm....im okish at night some nights worse than others depending on where LO puts feet etc and depending on what i've ate with heartburn! But i've found i get to sleep a bit easier when the nights are bad by having two pillows lying flat then another almost upright against the ones lying flat so basically my head and top half are quite high up (not upright) this helps with heartburn for me. Then when LO is sticking feet into ribs i stretch out really straight and either have the other pillow under my feet or tucked up behind me or along right side where LO's feet usually stick into me. very random i know but works for me most nights!

I havnt bought a support pillow just mix and match with the five pillows i have on my bed

Dont know if any of what i've said will be of use but im sure anything is worth a try! xx

It's actually not my bump which is uncmfortable at night, it's my legs, they ache like mad!!! Have had to get up this early just so I'm sat with them bent and not stretched out or lay on them!! Think I'm getting too heavy for legs to cope with, so this baby better hurry up and come soon because if I have to get indicued I've still got 16 days!!!

I can't remember the last time I had a decent nights sleep must have being before pregnancy. I turn around so many times during the night it's unbelievable I am not a big sleeper so guess it hasn't really bothered me that much.

I couldn't live without my preggo pillow. got one of hte £10 from Lidl, its just a 5ft long straight pillow, fits under my bump so its supported, and then also gives support for my top leg (if i'm lying on my side) so that my hips remain level.
It's an absolute lifesaver!!
saying that though, I still wake every 1.5-2hrs to pee or turn over.

Arghh mine is hips and ribs that hurt all night! My solution is to sleep sat upright..like on the sofa with loads of cushions to keep you cumfy. Pity it doesnt stop the hourly toilet visits though!!?
