After a long time thinking i think i have made a decision...

After weeks of pondering over breast or bottle i think i have decided to stick with what i know and bottle feed! I know everyone has alot of opinions on this subject and i have found it a difficult decision but after thinking it through, reading up and talking with DH i just think bottle feeding is best for us! I bottle fed Lottie and it was great, we had a great routine with DH and i sharing equal feeds and she was great on it, no problems at all! I've been so stressed thinking about it that i will be awful when the time comes if i can't get it right and would hate to fail. I will feel guilty giving all my time concentrating on breast feeding whilst i have lottie to look after too and i just don't think i'm commited enough, i want to give my baby the best start but i also want us to all be happy and relaxed in the house! Does that make sense? xx

i don't have children myself..yet, as im pregnant with my first, but i understand it would be hard to breast feed and look after another LO. but if i was in your situatiuon unless i couldnt for any reason produce milk i would still breastfeed to see how i get on with it, and express milk so OH could share in the feeding aswel and if i found it too difficult then i'd give bottle feeding a go, but thats just my opinion and i suppose it really goes down to your lifestyle etc. good luck with whatever feeding option you chose xx

It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Its down to you at the end of the day to make the best decision for your baby and you.

Best of luck.

You need to do what you feel happy with, dont worry what other people say its your choice. Im glad you have made your mind up. I am 40 weeks today and still dont know what to do ha ha. Got milk ready so i think i will just see how everything goes.

Good luck

Go girl!
My nct breast feeding councilor said although they feel breast feeding is best that the most important thing for baby is to enjoy your baby and to enjoy feeding your baby and to not end up feeling like you have failed. I am gona try to breast feed but If it gets in the way of the above i will move to bottle, its just a shame there is so many people with opinions out there who i know will cause hassle if i was to bottle feed.
My main reason to bottle feed is because i would really like to get back on drugs (prescription lol) that arent safe for the baby after 9 month of struggling to not take them. but i feel that people will look down on me if i didnt give breast feeding a go. I can imagine wanting to sneak off and hide to bottle feed my baby lol.
