I'm Currently Feeling: | Natural, Unassisted - OUTDOOR Birth http://rachyllgyne.tripod.com/thebirthofgreyforestwalt/
I ran into this birth story a couple years ago and was just fascinated. This is a wonderful tribute to birthing, and a beautifully written birth story.
I've noticed quite a lot of discussion here about 'natural' or unmedicated births, home births etc. and thought some of you might enjoy reading this.
Very unique experience.
(There are some photos that are quite graphic, but most are not.)
Enjoy! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I reread this, and forgot the midwives did help with the shoulder dystocia so I guess it's not "unassisted" as the title of the thread mentions... But any way you slice it, giving birth under a ponderosa pine, is quite extraordinary. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Her second son's birth was completely unassisted, perhaps you just got the two mixed up?!
And I agree, having a tree and it's grounds as her birthing place must of been amazing. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I watched some birth story and the it was the mother and father, and she was in a tidal pool on some island. There was a doctor, but he was far enough way that it was still private. It was amazing. |
