I just watched this with my mum and sister, all of us cried. Shes SUCH a lovely person and so strong. Some people on this earth are scum and those two guys should of had acid thrown on them for punishment! She still looks amazing despite it all.

Im watching it now. She was absolutely stunning and her face has changed so so much but she is still gorgeous and such an inspiration. I dont know if i could be that brave!

Those 2 men really do need locking up for life!!! And not just a measly 10 years life like some of them get!!

I really wanted to give her a hug and tell her it will be ok

The programme/her story was really shocking and of course inspiring.
Terrible to think someone could be so crazy/evil when they'd only been seeing eachother a couple of weeks.

For it only being a year or so after it happened she was doing so well.

During the bit where she was in hospital wondering about the point in getting up each day, and being more at home in there than in a bar or club - my heart almost broke. I know what that's like and I just wanted to tell her you CAN build your life back. It was terrific to see her at her party and her start to feel like her old self again

And it was lovely that she got to honour her family and the people who'd helped her. So many medical and emergency workers don't get to hear just what an amazing difference they make to peoples lives.

It doesn't lessen the horror of what happened to her, but I have every faith that in 5 years she'll be bouncing around feeling like a more capable, confident, brighter Katie because of what she's gone through. If she's lucky she might end up somewhat glad of the turning point in her life... (never sure how understandable this is to other people) ...I would rather have my life now scars n all, it's made me a stronger person.

Good luck Katie Piper x
