Question about Epidural Vs Scoliosis?

Hi all..

I know I am not part of this forum, but I really need some answers and will ask my doctor about it as well. I am not even sure that this is the right place to post this!

I am not pregnant, yet, but I was wondering things about the epidural. I have Scoliosis and was wondering if it makes thing not good? I mean, does the doctor still perform the epidural injection even though there is Scoliosis issues? My curve isn't severe.. last time was 21 degrees and haven't checked since a long time as my doctor considered me "stopped getting tall" so I stopped checking in for a while though I need to do it again.

Doc advised me that my curve isn't even an issue to worry about. It is not noticeable at all but I just get to have a feeling of tiredness sometimes. Doc also advices that 80% of woman have this and don't know they have it.

Does anyone have scoliosis? what do u know about taking epidural having it? This is just for educational purpose.

thank you!

Hey hon,

I don't have it but looked it up and there's usually no issues with having the epi if you have scoliosis. There might be some difficulties putting it in but usually there isn't any problems.
