Can't Bend

I feel as though I've absolutely ballooned over the past few weeks. Bending is such a chore now.

I can't believe how difficult it is to pick something up off the ground or bend over to grab something on the table. Sometimes I even get winded when bending over. I've got a bad case of the grunts when I do have to pick something up, it takes so much effort I sound as though I'm an old lady.

Getting off the bed is ridiculous!! I've started "rolling" off to the edge then lifting myself from there. What a beached whale I am, lol.

What about you ladies? Is there anything you can't do anymore? I'm interested in your stories

You described my morning trips to the bathroom exactly.

*roll over, grunt grunt, rest, grunt, push up off the bed and hold onto the wall, waddle to the bathroom*

Ahh the joys eh? You should try bracing your feet apart if you need to pick something up, thats the only way I can do it or it feels like I'm gonna squish the bub out.

Things I can't do comfortably anymore:
Shave
Can't tie my shoes
putting on pants is terrible
getting up off the couch is a huge event lol
climbing stairs
putting on socks! lol thats fun
basically anything that requires me to move

I am with you both. OH has to help me put my shoes on now!
I hate having to roll out of bed to try and waddle to the bathroom. I feel huge and useless

-and I can't stand up or walk for too long without having my feet/ankles killing me!

I do the roll-off-the-bed thing too!
I cannot tie my shoes (best friend = slip ons ), or reach down to put my pants on, cant shave, cant see my feet when standing , I also get pains when moving or walking too long.
I also know what you mean about the grunting. I grunt all the time! When rolling over.. getting up.. bending over.. doing anything

I noticed that shaving was getting tricky a while ago, but tried to clip my toe nails today and found it nearly impossible! First off it was just a problem of my feet being out of reach, then baby decided she didn't like mummy bending over and squishing her like that and delivered me a swift flurry of kicks to my ribs, and I ended up totally breathless and achy... gave up on the toe-nail-cutting after 7 nails! Might attempt the other 3 tomorrow...

LOL you girls should see/hear me trying to get out of the bathtub! Half the time my DH comes in to help me up. When bending over, I must first spread my feet far past shoulder width apart, bend down very slowly, pick up item, and bend back up very slowly. DH helps me with my socks and shoes too, unless I'm trying to be independent and wont let him. (In jeans this is impossible) But in sweats I can still kinda manage, but am nearly out of breath by the time I am finished. Ugh... My mother has 2 flights of stairs in her house, and trying to make my way to the top bedrooms, I'm out of breath for a few mins, and have to sit down by the time I make it to the top!

Oooh the joys of being pregnant!
