Back from my Appointment!

Wow, well I knew something was happening! but I was really hoping I was just being paranoid lol. I'm already 2cm dilated! Baby's head is engaged, but at least my cervix is still thick.God, I'm so sore I forgot how much it hurt to be checked. The baby sounded great, 166 bpm! Weight went up lol I made up for what I lost last time, went up 6lbs in 2 weeks! Did my Strep B test, yuck, that sucked.
My doctor says there's probably no way I'll make it to 40 weeks, I honestly think I have maybe 2 more at the most with all the BH's I've been getting and now that I know I'm dilated I really don't think theres a chance. Just hoping I make it to 36 weeks so the bub doesn't spend any time in the NICU. I guess I should pack my bag and get everything else I need. Jeeez, I'm getting scared now

Ooh Jenny, I hope your LO will stay comfy for a while longer. You must just have a sparkling personality and that's why he/she wants to meet you already!

I just recently read in one of my pregnancy books that infants born between 34-37 weeks have no longterm problems health-wise and are statistically just as healthy as those born at term.

Stay baby, stay!!!!

Keeping you in my thoughts.

Jenny!! That's so exciting! How much longer you think it will be for baby to arrive? Will be a March baby? goodness 40 weeks for you is April! As long as baby is healthy, that is all that matters!!

Thanks Ladies!

This weekend I was getting massive pressure and lots and lots of BH's so I knew something was up, felt like my hips were gonna fall off . Right now, I'm doing ok. I'm still getting BH's but not as constant as this past weekend. Just need to take it easy and hopefully I'll make it to the 36 week mark. And yup, it looks like this baby will be here in March! Which I kinda figured it might happen as Drake was early. Just hoping this labor/delivery is smooth and easy and that the baby doesn't need any help if I do go into labor before 36 weeks. I'm quite excited/terrified at the moment, its hitting home

Geeze Jenny!!!
Thought we were gunna go together!
Just kiddin!!! Hope LO stays in there for as long as possible.

P.S. Just wondering...when you say it felt like your hips were going to fall off, is that always a sign of baby engaging??? My hips are literally killing me. Having a hard time walking now (its more like waddling).

Really wish they would hold off just a bit longer! Its kinda funny actually I went into labor with Drake at 33 weeks and 6 days and had him at 34 week mark exactly and tomorrow I'm 33 weeks and 6 days with this one, could you imagine?

I thought we were gonna go at the same time too! lol
I think it is a sign, I don't remember feeling it with Drake but I had a loooot of pressure and had stabbing pains in my hoo hoo, I think thats when it was actually completely engaging. It was really uncomfortable
