Anyone got any " babies 1st xmas " stuff for their lo? show it !! ot sorry

Ok id already decided i wasn't buying baby anything as he'll have everything being only 5wks old ish & will be asleep through it anyway ... but talking to my son josh today about xmas he suddenly started pointing out baby toys on tele for bump & how he cant wait to help open his presents... i feel really really guilty now that josh will have shit loads to open & he'll wonder why father xmas hasn't left any for baby as i said good girls & boys get presents etc .. so when i said well baby wont really need them he'll be to young he said " is that coz he's naughty in your belly mummy " & then said .. " its ok mummy i'll give him 1 of mine to open " its great he's thinking that but i feel bad a bit now so i'm thinking i might just buy some rattles & a teddy or something.

Have any of you bought anything for baby for xmas or got any babies 1st xmas things, as ive not even seen any for sale yet.

Do you think id be daft just buying 1 or 2 little things more for joshs sake ?

I'm kind of thinking the same as you hun, I mean chances are Jack will only be a week old but I've bought him a couple of little things, just so he has something with his name on under the tree

Like a little rattle and soft teddy, got him some really cute 1st Christmas outfits in the sale in next agesss ago so he'll have them to wear too!

x

OMG - your son is SOOOOO cute!!
I am in the same boat - bubs will only be a few weeks old, but I am thinking we will wrap a few things we've already bought so we have a little stocking for the first Christmas!
I think it would be great to wrap a few bits for Josh's sake. I am loving how involved he is already with his little bro! And he offered one of his gifts - sooo sweet! I think he would like to help open a few small gifts for his little bro
xx

I think we are just planning to buy things we need for him and calling it his Christmas, lol. Since he will only be a month old or so, its is really just for pictures and to make us feel better as he wont know the difference anyway. But, I would feel bad for not doing something to celebrate my baby's first Christmas.
