ouch ouch ouch .. poss early labour? what do u guys think? update pg 2 + 4

Hello ladies,
I've phoned delivery at hosp earlier to ask about the pains im getting etc & she said it sounds like early labour signs even though i've not had a show ( never saw my 1st one with josh so )

Anyhoo heres the symptoms so far -

Started around 11am ish, really low down dull back ache which seemed constant, Somewhat eases when i sit down but when moving it gets a little stronger.
Just reminds me of having period pains in your back
but it's travelling down my bum cheeks to my bum, Not a sharp pain like when baby lies on a nerve & its not the spd this is extra! Feel like a low down back massage would be good, I tried a heat pad that you warm in the microwave which helped ease the pain whilst sat but 15mins after removing it i'm uncomfy again.

Under my bump is achy again worse when moving, Feels like i have to hold it
I noticed whilst stood or walking the top of my bump goes really hard & i have to rub it, like the BH . Not coming in any particular pattern but they do feel quite uncomfortable & i'm cold .

My legs keep shaking & feeling wobbly, I feel sick but have done for about a week , Ive gone off food again & the thought of it makes me physically wretch. I'm cold & generally just feel really wierd, Sometimes when i'm walking i slow to an almost virtually stop & i can feel myself taking noticeable deeper breaths & blowing out.
I've noticed a little more "wetter" discharge but not actually seen the discharge i just feel more wet if you get me.

I have severe spd but this pain is different & not on the joints although all that is still there if you get me. I dropped josh at nursery at 1pm & struggled to even walk a step without having to say " ow ow ow " .

Midwife said take 2 painkillers etc & call us if any changes, i'm on 8 cocodamols a day i cant take any more !!!
So she said if movement is making it worse it could be early labour which is to early as im 35wks tomorrow..but they inducing me in 2wks ....

What do you lot reckon? Early labour or something else?

I'm afraid I have no idea, but didn't want to read and run. Either way, I hope you are OK and things get a bit better soon, whether it's your symptoms giving you a break, or your waters giving you a break! lol

Good luck either way xxx

To me, sounds like a test run.

If you'd mentioned some kinda of irregular pattern to the pains, id probably think possible early labour.

I remember hitting 34wks with amber, having first proper BH false labour run.... to which i contact the hospital etc etc. It did pass, it happened again at 36wks, and it happened again, lol.

Have you tried having a bath?

The hardening of bump isn't in any particular pattern at all, Its just happened twice in 10 mins but before that was half hr ago, The pain in my back is hurting though

If its early labour wont they just stop it anyway for the 2wks until they induce me or would they let bump come?

I haven't a clue about these pains as with my 1st i was induced at 39wks & it sorta started straight away & i remember the back pain being very similar but i dont remember the rest

Hmm, very difficult to tell! Everything seems too random to be able to put a definite name to it, so can't be sure. Just keep an eye on it all, try to rest as much as possible and keep us updated x

I had pains which sounds similar to yours yesterday. I thought that this was my body having a practice run as although it was sore it wasn't unbearable or anything like that. I think the reason that it hurt as much as it did was that it was on top of the usual SPD pain which is horrible enough. The tightenings and pains went on all day but weren't regular as such and aren't there today tho I still have some back ache today. I phoned the MW and she told me the same thing as you, take a couple of paracetamol and phone back if things get worse. I said well I can feel then thru cocodamol..........

If I was you i'd keep an eye on it and if things get more serious and/or regular then I'd get on the phone with the MW again.
