What NOW!!

Well after my post the other day of wondering what was happening to me and concluding it was Braxton Hicks, I've had some odd, blood stained discharge this morning. Not very much of it but I called the doctor since I figured I'd better get it checked. Just waiting for a call back.

What will the doctor even do? Will I just have an internal and all the usual checks at the doctors or am I likely to have to go to the hospital?

I'm having a lazy day too and haven't even had a shower yet. I don't want to go for a shower now because I'll probably miss the doctors phone call. Should have thought about that first!!

Hello,
I hope you've spoken to your doc by now, but if not, you should give your midwife a ring. I dont want to be alarmist, but what you've described along with the pain in an earlier post could be pre-term labour. There's lots they can do to help you, so best to speak to a health professional asap. Even try NHS direct if you cant get hold of anyone else. And failing all of that, go to A&E. You might feel that you are over reacting, but it is best to be sure about these things and early intervention can really help. Chances are it'll be nothing, but personally the above is what i would do in your shoes.
Karen.

Please get it checked especially after your last post...... Preterm labour is the worst thing to go through !!!! Its better to be safe than sorry!!! I almost put off my signs as i was being to worried about it thank god i didnt because i would of had a almost 28 week premie but i worried and they stopped my labour!!!!!!! BE cautious about all signs of preterm labour even if you only have one or two signs....
