in two minds about this as people are saying diff things! just want 2 make sure the lil man stays safe! anybody had it already? or def not or def getting it? plz reply

I am also in 2 minds, I more on the side of no I wont be having it. This may sound daft BUT if Dr Hilary off GMTV says that its OK I may just be swayed ( I seem to trust him) its such a hard decision...

I've been thinking about this over the last couple of days actually. I was reading something (probably online) last night that said that just about everyone in the UK will be exposed to Swine Flu in the next 12 months. I'm having my wee boy in just over 4 weeks from now and so don't know if i'll get it before he gets here... something i'm going to ask my mw about when i go back for my 35 week check up. I'm more concerned about my baby tbh, will they be offered the vaccine?

I will be having it, if anything was to happen as a result, I would rather it happened trying to protect myself and my baby, than not.

havent been offered it yet,and to be honest its only flu at the end of the day, and swine flu isn't all that bad of a flu so I doubt it.

i'm not going to have it, my mum used to work in health care and i remember the one and only year she had the normal flu vaccine and came down with realy bad flu. i wasnt that bothered about it til rafwive's OH got it really bad, then it scared me! i know plenty of poeple that have had it yet, my area was named in the sun as one of the worst, really not that bothered tho!

I won't be having the Swine Flu jab. It hasn't been tested on pregnant women or young children. I know a few people who have had Swine Flu, 2 of them pregnant & they were fine after 2 weeks.

If the jab caused anything to be wrong with my unborn baby or my 2 girls I would have to live with the guilt the rest of my life which is the reason why I won't have it.
