Well I was paid smp this month on accident and received just over £600, not sure if that was right or not as work messed up and paid me the rest of my wage today.

The first 6 weeks you get 90% of your salary. Maybe htat was why you got more???

Definitely wasn't 90% of salary ive been on mat leave 10 weeks. I think my work just have rubbish wages department.

I think the amount of tax you pay will depend on your tax code and how much you normally earn so how much tax you normally pay.

Tax on £123/week @20% basic tax rate isn't that much because if you have the standard tax code you can earn nearly £100/week before you pay tax so you're only getting 20% of £23 (ish) taken off you.

NI is the same, the first about £90/week isn't subject to it and it's 11% on anything after that.

I'd say, as a guess, you'll end up with about £115/week but I'm doing the lower limits from memory, they are on the direct.gov website under income tax I think if you want to be certain.
