swelling and heart rate - should I be worried?

This morning I woke up with HUGE hands and feet and big Angelina Jolie lips. I had had a nose bleed at about 5 this morning - my second this week.

My first concern was that my wedding rings were turning my finger slightly purple, so I had a cold shower and spent at least an hour and 1/2 with my left hand above my head holding a bag of frozen sausages. This allowed me to painfully pull the rings of and let my finger go back to normal.

Now it's subsided a bit, but my heart is beating really strongly - I can feel it up in my throat and along my shoulders.

Does anybody know what I can do to improve this, and if I should be worried?

I would phone your midwife asap....just to be on the safe side

You definitely want to get that checked out!

The swelling and nose bleed could mean high bp i would call midwife just incase, Hope all is ok.
