back pain just below the shoulder blades

Anyone suffering from this? I sit at a desk all day and it's driving me mad. Really aches. Tried adjusting my chair, sitting up straight, and bringing laptop closer

Yeah, I also work at an office, and have been getting them. It is becoming worse, and now I feel it more on the right side (baby is lying along the left side) - I think it's due to the change of the center of my balance. It becomes excruciating by the evening.

I'm doing pre-natal yoga, and also pre-natal exercize class. The stretching exercises are somewhat helpful, as is taking a warm bath in the evening.

Check with your workplace -you may qualify for a special anatomical chair by doctor's prescription!

The back pain I'm getting is because of my ribs flaring out and baby being wedged under my ribs.

So it coud be a symptom of that, you dont really think about it but your ribs have to move a lot to accomodate ecverythign squashed into your chest by baba.

My physio suggested taking a few really deep breaths every now and then to try and encourage my ribs to flare out.

But as the ladies above have said good posture and perhaps a back support on your chair would help?

I know some people quit chairs all together and sit on a gym ball instead!

yea ive got this, mw has said its due to your centre of gravity being off and expanding ribs. its horrible. heat helps, hot water bottles, those heat pads u can get and a warm bath.
recently tho my mw suggested using my tens machine which really seems to work!
