Third Trimester Mummys please help and tell me what to buy!!!
We've already had our shower, and been shopping, and we're just about done. Heres our list from my memory (I'm sure I'll be leaving stuff out as I've got major preggo brain!)
Bassinet
Changing table
Play yard
Play mat
Stroller
Car seat
(we have a gift card for the crib and bedding that we are waiting to buy so we dont have to store it until shes in it)
Diaper genie & a few refill packs
LOTS of diapers size 1 & 2
Lots of wipes
TONS & I mean TONS of clothes. She has more than poor DH LOL
About 25 bibs
Quite a few pairs of booties and shoes (We even got a baby pair of UGGs!!)
Lots of caps
Lots of receiving blankets, and thick warm blankets
2 diaper bags
About 15 hooded towels
Probably like 30 washcloths
A robe
2 sets of baby shampoo, body wash, and baby lotion
Couple of things of baby powder (and one tube of liquid powder)
A few tubes of diaper rash cream
Umbilical cord cleaning cloths
Disposable washcloths
First aid kit (we have one plus an extra nasal aspirator, teeny nail clippers, digital thermometer)
About 15 bottles & few boxes of drop in liners
bottle brush
Bottle warmer
Sterilizer bags for the microwave
Probably about 15 pacifiers
2 little security blankies with stuffed animal rattles attached
foot rattles
like 5 teethers
Probably like 15-20 rattle like toys
Stuffed animals that shake and vibrate
Lots of regular stuffed animals
I'm planning on breast feeding, but we decided that we are going to make sure I can breast feed before we invest in a pump. Also, we haven't gotten the swing yet, thats like the only other thing I can think of off the top of my head that we need...
I'll probably go look at the baby stuff and see lots more that I forgot LOL. But Playtex website has a good list of essentials.
