hi i dont know if you get aquafresh toothpaste where you are but when i have coldsores i put aquafresh on them and as it drys it drys out the coldsore and the cold sore then goes into a scab.
ive used every cream you can imagine but i find they just feed the coldsore.

it only seems to work with aquafresh though, other toothpastea seems to feed the coldsore.

hope his helps.

i usually put the toothpaste on before i go to bed or in the evening as it can dry while i sleep then in the morning i use a damp cotton wool pad to wipe the dried toothpaste off.

nothing works for me except for the actual antiviral drug. thanks though, you are lucky you can get rid of those like that.

They do say that cold sores come out instread of you being ill - so that could be a little blessing?

I hope they go down quick, but I was always told to put perfume on them it stings like hell, but it does seem to work! x

I've got one right now too. My naturopath put me on amino acids and it helped. This one pretty much scabbed after one day!
