My Baby is Breech!

Well girlies, i had my 34 week growth scan yesterday, everything is perfect with bubs, he is still gonna be a big baby as he is already weighing in at 6lb 3oz!! but he is breech!! i have another scan in 3 weeks time when i will be 37 weeks, if he is still breech i will be booked in for a c-section. has anyone been in this situation before and their baby has turned or are any of you in this situation at the minute? xxx

Hi hon, I am 32 weeks and my baby is breech too. I have another scan at 37 weeks and they have said not to worry untill then

Baby is measuring big too but no one has mentioned a c section to me yet.

I'm going to find out on Friday what is happening. I had a scan at 36 weeks and baby was transverse, and measuring pretty big. On Friday we will see if she has turned (Sometimes I think that she has and other times I think that she hasn't). If she has turned I'm getting induced at 40weeks, if she hasn't then I'm getting a section at 39 weeks. I've been thinking about it and to be honest I think that I would prefer the section at this point. Just to get things over with a bit sooner and I'm not too keen on the idea of giving birth to a big baby!! lol!!

Hiya, i'm 37+5 and my little boy is breech, they attempted an ECV (turning the baby) on friday but that was unsuccessul so i have been booked in for a c section at 38+6 (8 days!!!

I was initially quite upset to have to have a c section but now i have read up on it and spoke to a few people i don't mind at all... anything to get the little fella here safely!

Hey Im 37+4 and my baby is also breech, I decided again ECV, took alot of time to read up about it and discussed with alot of different people but decided not for me, so booked for c-section on 26/10/09 I will be 39+3. Im not to bothered as have been very open minded about everything pregnancy related and never ruled out possibilities of c-section. Good Luck and dont forget some babies turn right at the last minute so you never know!!!

My last was breech at 34 weeks but then luckily she turned by the time I had my scan at 36 weeks.

I know this one is also breech, I can feel it in the wrong position so I'm probably going to go through the same thing again and hope like mad that it turns as the thought of a c-section is a bit scary and impractical for me!

Aiden was breech at 38 weeks and turned b himself on the morning of my section

i got all prepped ready to be taken to theatre to have my spinal and the midwife felt my tummy too see where his head was for getting him out then she ran off got a scan machine and said "hes head down and engaged we will just send you home now!" I was gutted cause i got so worked up for him coming that day

I didnt even feel him turn back round either xx
