HELP MEWere your "Flutters" or "quickening" few and far between at 17 weeks pregnant?

I'm 17/ish weeks now..and i've felt flutters/quickening almost every night..not for long periods of time, but clear flutters especially after eating or drinking at night.
*TMI* now all of a sudden, i feel bloated like i have gas *sorry* and i haven't felt anything for the last two nights.

im' really worried.

I felt nothing until 19 weeks. You shouldn't monitor the baby's movemements until 28 weeks... before then, quiet periods are normal.

I wouldn't stress too much. I never felt a thing until 21-22 weeks!

Drink something cold/eat a biscuit and relax for half an hour on the sofa if you're worried!

I wouldn't worry either. I didnt feel a thing until 22 weeks. Like someone said they can be very sparadic until 28 weeks.

Cold drinks and orange juice are meant to help LOs start moving.

i hadnt felt a thing at 17 weeks so i wouldnt worry!! Your LO is still so tiny at that stage so its not unsual to go a few days without feeling anything....although ice cold pepsi always wakes my one up...lol

baby has probably just shifted to a different position where you can't feel the movement anymore. They have so much room at your stage that movement is very sporadic. Please don't worry at all about it.

Oh hon, don't worry at all, I didn't feel anything until 21w, and like the other ladies said it's very sporadic for a couple months after you first feel movement. You are fine!
