| Mum (Mom) Active BnB Member  Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Harrow, London Posts: 922 | Back from Hospital hello ladies, Had been to the hospital ...... aka delivery suite was greeted by a lovely midwife. I am supposed to be DUE today! I have been getting pains down there and constant BH's never relaxing..... every 10 - 15 mins and some intense pains lasting 40 - 50 seconds. Was examined and everything was fine.... waters were fine and LO was moving loads. Got an internal done... aww it was better than the last time and she could find my cervix quite quick! but the thing is she could just put in 1 finger........  which means I am only 1 cm dilated..... Was told it could take somemore time and I was in early labor, infact very very early labor and it could take days!!!!  So I still have to wait for long time.... Argghhhhhhh is there anything to SPEED things up..... !!!!!!???!!!!! |

| Mum (Mom) Chat Happy BnB Member  Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: West of Scotland Posts: 1,861 | poor you i know how you feel with my wee girl i started getting contractions on the friday afternoon, they were sore and intense and the consultant even said oh we might have a baby tonight or tomorrow! However they continued through saturday and back to the hospital on sunday were i was still on 1-2cm they wanted to send me home but i was in agony witht he contractions so i asked if i could stay. It was 3am on the monday before they sent me to the labour suit and broke my waters! Hope things speed up for you as we all know some woman could be days and some could just go in a few hours!!! xxxx |
