I'm Tired

I am sorry to sound depressed, but I am really tired of being pregnant now...

I'm huge, everyone says I'm carrying twins...my feet and fingers are hurting from water retention, I've got SPD, and my pelvic hurts even more these days....I'm also getting more and stronger braxton hicks everyday...

I know I'm being selfish if I want to go into labour and want my LO right now...

I hope I will feel better soon....

Aw, I am sorry to hear that you are tired of it all. Truly, I think it is normal. I felt the same way in the past. 9 months isn't too long but when you are pregnant, it feels like forever. So many emotions, excitement, anxiety, anticipation, health concerns, etc. vary greatly throughout the nine months.

I hope you feel better soon!

Aw hun I'm starting to understand how you feel... I'm sore all the time. Baby is always pressing down on my pelvis, which gets really really painful especially when I'm walking around. I cant sleep anymore at night... And for the past few days, been having BH so bad I've been in tears. I get sore sleeping on my sides, and its so much more difficult to turn over in bed... =( Sometimes we just gotta vent... I just keep telling myself it will all be worth it when our little girl is here. Hope you start feeling better, and your almost done!

Thanks ladies...at least I don't feel so alone...ya know, its like, once I get one or two of those strong and kinda painful BH, I would be hoping it's the "real" thing...but logically, LO is not full term yet, I can't think this way, bad mummy....lol

cheers! let's hope time flies for all of us!

You are definately not alone in all this. My hips, bum, back, etc are hurting me so bad, I can't stand sitting all day, I can never sleep because I can't find a comfortable position, and rolling over is such a pain. And the BH??? I don't even wanna go there.

Soon enough, though.....

*hug* Don't feel guilty about the way your feeling - I think it's pretty normal, and not at all selfish! I'm less pregnant than you and I'm begining to feel the same...

40 weeks is a very long time to have your body and life devoted to making a new life! All of the pains and discomforts that you have listed are very valid and there's nothing wrong with wanting it to be over now; it doesn't make you any less maternal, or any less loving toward your unborn child, or any amount selfish, either.

Good luck, hun. I hope you feel better soon.
