I think I worry too much... But...

All day I've had very uncomfortable sensations in my bump. I've had BH all day, and they have been getting painful as the day went on... I've tried timing them, and it seems to be every 6-8 mins... I've tried lying down, they're just as bad... sitting up, just as bad, and walking is bad too! I dont want to overreact and go to labor & delivery if it is nothing, but I'm very uncomfortable. Its like horrible period pains shooting through my bump. But when I had contractions at 23 weeks, the pain was making me cry. This is not quite that bad. It hurts, but I'm not on the verge of tears. If it was daytime here, I would call the doctor, but its midnight... And DH is sleeping... Sorry to sound like a complainer, I'm just a nervous, worrying firsttimer... Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks ladies.

Try not to worry. I'd carry on timing them and just try to relax. Call a doctor or midwife as soon as you can though to get it checked if it hasn't stopped. Oh and try having a bath. Maybe that will help with the pain & I've heard it can help stop BH too.

if you are uncomfortable or worried about anything at all you should call the midwives. That is what they are there for and believe it or not they really dont mind you bothering them. I know you feel like your over reacting but it is better to over react and have nothing happen than to leave it and worry yourself silly. Give then a ring hun, put your mind at rest.

It doesn't hurt to call your doctor hon. Especially if they aren't going away. Thats why they're there, to ease your worries. I hope everything is ok

I would call your doctor if they are that close together. My doctor wants me to come in if I've had more then four in an hour. Normally they just give me medication to make them stop. Hope those darn BH go away soon they can be scary!!

Hey girls... Well last night at 2am I took a bubble bath. They were still there, but decided I would just try and sleep and see how things were this morning. I'm still having discomfort, and having them, but not regularly. I have an appt this week, so I'll talk to the doctor about it, but it seems they were just BH but intense. I was definitely worrying too much lol, but I worry too much about everything... Thanks for the support tho girls, it means the world to me. =)
